[Diabetes-talk] Free to a good home - diabetic supplies

Let's put it this way: I don't trust machines. I want to know *exactly*
what they're telling each other.

Incidentally, a CDE of my aquaintance says her engineer husband says
much the same thing -- he doesn't trust machines to determine his
boluses etc. (grin)

Why?
It's a regular meter, but it doesn't talk, and tells the pump all of
your
"vital" info at the time, so there is less chance of an error in me (a
blind
person) putting the wrong "vital info" into the pump, in turn getting
the
wrong dose of insulin, etc
