[Diabetes-talk] has anyone on here ever used telescopic glasses?

I realize most everyone on site is blind but i wanted to ask if anyone on here has ever used telescopic glasses with diabetic retinopathy?
If so what can u tell me about using them? I know they r to help increase distance vision and canmake driving available for ppl who r legally blind but what r the catches to using them.
Please let me know.
