Hi Paul,

It sounds like you did exactly the right thing. You should use a soft tissue
but do not use rubbing alcohol...

Regards,
Ed Bryant

Subject: [Diabetes-talk] strange question, maybe

Two days ago, I went to test my blood glucose level in the evening, and when
I stuck my finger, I got more blood than I ever had before.

This left some residue on the meter, and I was uncertain as to the procedure
to use to clean it up, as I certainly don't want to do anything that would
damage it.

I wound up wiping it thoroughly with tissue, but wonder if I should have
done more? Oh, by the way, it still seems to work fine.

Sorry for being so uninformed about this stuff.

Paul
