[Diabetes-talk] Insulin pen study

Hi Tamera,
For many years, blind diabetics drew up insulin using insulin gauges like
the Count-a-dose, The Syringe Support, etc. We think a manufacture is trying
to bring the Count-a-dose back to market which would be great.

I get a bit lost in the whole pen/syringe issue.. How do these
manufacturers of insulin think we blind drew up our syringes with a vial
of insulin and successfully administered doses of insulin?
The pens, if anything have made the entire process easier for the blind,
not more complicated??
Tamera
