Hi Folks,

The following information is about the Clever Chek which will provide you
with pertinent data. I am involved in a project in which I am evaluating all
talking blood glucose monitors sold in the United States.

Here it is.

Regards,

Ed Bryant

Simple Diagnostics, based in Williston Park, New York, makes the Clever Chek
Autocode Voice. It uses 0.7 micro liters of blood and takes 7 seconds for
results. It can hold 450 readings, with 7, 14, 21, 28, 60, and 90 day
averages. The Clever Chek also has software that can be downloaded to your
personal computer to utilize the data. It measures 4" x 1.8" x .73" and is
2.47 ounces.

User's Information: The Simple Diagnostic Company has only downloadable
software as their user's guide. I called the company on March 31st, 2009 and
was told they had no user's manual but they would help people if they
called. After checking their website I found software for the Clever Chek
and discovered it was formatted very poorly and extremely hard to
understand. Unfortunately their software was in frames and could not be
utilized with screen readers like JAWS and Window Eyes.

Note: On April 2nd, 2009, was the third attempt to get the company to tell
me what their talking meter would cost. They told me to check with my local
pharmacy but I told them I had already done so and my pharmacy had never
heard of the Clever Chek. Simple Diagnostic Company would not or could not
give me a cost and said I would have to give them my name and telephone
number and they would have one of their representatives call me. I never
received a call.

Later I found one of their distributors to be Advantage Diagnostics based in
Big Sandy, Texas. This group told me on April 2nd, 2009, that they were told
by their sales representative, that a CD containing the user's manual was
being worked on.
