Hi Sarah,
Welcome aboard! You say you are no longer on Metformin, so I guess that
means your diabetes is doing pretty good. 
I have been a type 1 diabetic for over 50 years and I am currently doing
well but have experienced some of its ramifications. Again welcome to the
diabetes talk list.
