Keep in mind that on the day of the prep for a colonoscopy, you are on 
aliquid diet, so if it is a matter that taking your pill on a totally empty 
stomach is what bothers you, you can take your medication with jello or 
clear juice.  It is best to run this stuff by your doctor prior to the day 
of your prep.
