[Diabetes-talk] my question about a cure for diabetes

Hello All,

Seems to me like a cure would not get rid of the complications already
acquired from Diabetes by millions of people. It would only slow or stop
new diagnoses of Diabetes. There'd still be a need for such specialists for
a few more decades or generations, I think. And there are many other
diseases that go along with the systems of our body which Diabetes affects
or is affected by, which may not be cured along with Diabetes, if and when a
cure is found. So I wouldn't worry too much. Besides, their specialists in
one way or another and it wouldn't take much if anything in most cases for
them to get up to speed on another similar niche in the health industry.
Though the typical conspiracy theories would suggest that it could easily be
that the "huge drug manufacturers" don't really want a cure found. Either
way, life goes on... for most of us. ;-)
