WE probably won't know the long-term cost of strips for a while as both DDI 
and the company marketing the Solo may not have a handle on their long-term 
costs.

Incidentally, I understand that DDI is working on a strip that is less prone 
to give erroneous readings from too little blood on the strip. Vive la 
competition! Now let's see what the Solo people do about truly meaningful 
access improvements as opposed to extras such as the alarm.
