Again, I am a medical insurance specialist who went to school for this. If
you have Medicare you can use any Medicare provider does not have to be in
your state, I use Advanced Diabetic Solutions I live in NY and they are in
GA. I used to use a company in California and I am on Medicare. No one said
you couldn't ask a question. I said ask your friend where she got hers.
I am telling you about fact with medicare, as long as they are a medicare
provider you can do to any company that does Diabetic Medical Supplies, the
same with the electric scooters.
Many of us on this list have mentioned this over and over again.
I have been working with insurance companies such as aetna, blue cross, and
others for years even before losing my sight I was not in the billing
department but I know about how medicare works.
Again, I am not putting you down, I am stating a fact. If you have part A &
B of Medicare that is fine, if you have a insurance provider as primary such
as blue cross, or other insurance you may only get your supplies or shoes
from the contracted company with your insurance company.
