Mike:
Kidney Failure, eyesight failure, nerve damage, etc. all has to do with
complications with diabetes, when you take all of this into consideration
your sugar will fluctuate, kidney are an organ, all organs, systems, etc.
can be effected by diabetes. People do not die from Diabetes it is the
complications from it.
Now Insulin runs through your body, to cover what is taken away from
diabeties.
So if she is having hypos, or high blood sugar depends on her keeping close
to what her doctors tell her, but yes the insulin is she is taking to much
will give her hypos, especially on dialysis or certain meds, that is why to
keep close tabs with your doctor.
