This may be true. However, (1) if it is against the law for insurance 
companies to enter into contracts that restrict their formularies from 
including accessible devices, medical supply companies would have to go 
along whether they liked it or not. The situation is analogous to that in 
which the courts and civil rights statutes have ruled that conditions, 
covenants and restrictions with provisions involving race are deemed 
unenforceable. (2) I suspect that directly requiring medical supply houses 
to carry accessible meters would run afoul of various provisions of the U.S. 
and/or state constitutions.
