They were giving away the solo glucometer at NFB Convention in  Dallas.  So 
I am sure you could get one without any trouble.  It is  just being sure 
your insurance will cover the cost of the test strips.  You  really need a new 
machine and that will solve most of the problems you seem to  be having.
