You are right, Dar. You do change the infusion set, which is the 
equivalent of the needle every three days or so. A cartridge of 
insulin happens to last me a lot longer than that though so I don't 
change the tubing, only the infusion set, which is like a straw more 
than anything else. When you insert a CGM sensor, those can stay in a 
lot longer though.
