Hi, all.

First, if you look on the BARD site, you'll find two items of interest to diabetics. NLS has recently released Hope Warshaw's book on meal-planning with diabetes. It's a comprehensive book with explanations of the interaction between diabetes and diet and a plethora of recipes. Ms. Warshaw is the same lady who wrote "A Complete Guide to Carb Counting" which is available from RFB&D both as a CD and digital download. Just put "Warshaw, Hope" in the BARD search box and you'll find the book.

Second, the August issue of Diabetes Forecast, also available from BARD, has a bunch of good mexican recipes although they're not quite Tex-Mex as, in my opinion, one can't really have Tex-Mex without slathering everything with chese (which, of course, Diabetes Forecast is allergic to!).
