Why doesn't your friend need to check her blood sugar, she is diabetic isn't she we all have to check our blood sugar, before we eat and an hour after we eat so we know what are sugar is and how much medication to take.
or to keep track to tell the dr.

Oh no, my friend! Quite the Contrary, because often diabetes and high blood
pressure, heart disease, and a whole myriad of other conditions go
hand-in-hand. At least, that's how I'd see it if I were the moderator.
Mike is no slouch either Honey, so I truly don't think you have to worry
about "off-topic" stuff with this one. As for the "Prodigy duo meter, I'm
not even sure if they're going that direction anymore. I don't think
they've had too much luck with that. I think the concentration now is on
the talking pill bottle, the IQ Patch thing, the Count-A-Dose, the lazor
lancing device, and the talking insulin pump at this point.
You might try checking with the Independence Market over at NFB:
410-659-9314. Just follow the automated prompts which will give you the
extension for the "Independence Market" and someone there will help you
because they do have a blood pressure monitor and they even have an extra
large cuffh you can use with the machine for someone who is very arm-heavy.
Have a wonderful and Blessed Easter!
