Thanks so much for the help. I definitely want as much info and support
from anyone with pump experience.
As I said, I have used a pump for seven years now (as a totally blind
person) but I want any info about the Medtronic and Animas pumps from
fellow blind people who use, or have used, them, before making a
decision since they are a little different from my Cosmo, and they don't
have the audio feature for every function like the Cosmo. Looking for
the pros and cons for both.
I really appreciate all the help.
Sincerely,
Bridgit Kuenning-Pollpeter

Subject: [Diabetes-talk] Not a Question about Insulin Pumps...
Hi There!
We e-eet again!! I myself am not a pumper. However, if it ever happens
that I do need one, the very first three people I would ever consult
with
are: Diane from Colorado, Veronica Elsea, and my friend Krissy.
Veronica,
because she is totally blind as am I. Diane, because we've been friends
for
a very, very long time. And Krissy. She is a sighted lady but I've
worked
with her for a number of years and she taught me a lot about her pump as
she
learnd to use hers. She even offered help to me if ever I am
recommended
for one. Ya gotta go where ya feel safe, ya know. I trust those three
ladies implicitly.
Hopefully, they're catching this on the list as I know they're all
subscribed here. If not, do you mind if I put a bug in their ear first
thing in the morning and have them give you a shoutBridgit? Take care
my
friend and we'll talk soon! Bern
