> Just for your information, the 2011 edition of the Medicare and you Handbook, which all Medicare recipients receive in the mail is now available in Braille. i ordered it on Monday and received it today. It comes in three soft cover volumes, 257 pages in Braille. This is the official US government Medicare handbook, covering what's new, Medicare costs What Medicare covers, health and prescription drug plans and your Medicare rights. It is also available online but it is in a pdf format which I found hard to read. If you want this publication in Braille call 800 633-4227. Now you can order publications using the automated phone system but you do not get an option for accessible formats. So say you want to speak to an agent and ask for Braille. There are probably other accessible formats as well. I know that large print is available. I was very surprised to get it so quickly.
