I totally understand the idea of shipping out stuff we aren't using, and I
don't like to store a bunch of items nor toss out because they are expired.
but I do feel its a bit of a HIPAA like thing, as its none of their
business. Seems if you see your MD regularly and offer up your info, they
prescribe based on your testing practices.
I felt it was a bit elaborate to request I mail them my meter every 3
months, and so is log books... as these are items typically taken to the
treating MD.
Its nearly enough to cause one to not check regularly, and what diabetic
needs the added stress?
I imagine this has more to do with suppliers over charging and shipping
things as I said I get without requesting, but puts the burden back on us.
