I do it all the time Honey!  As far as I'm concerned, it's taking 
responsibility to care for yourself, not expecting that people are just 
going to have something for you to drink and/or eat wherever you go.  If I 
don't want to carry an extra little bag around, I just stick it in the 
briefcase, or a back pack, whatever I happen to have on me.  Doesn't have to 
be much.
