You can Medicare to pay for the pump, you have to go through A1C test, and fasting testing and others, Medicare is very strict with the A1C numbers, that is why also of secondary insurance which in this case, is my husband's insurance, Medtronics the pump company I am using had to get a denial from Medicare first and see if my secondary would cover it.

A lot of the HMOs will cover it now then 5 years ago, when I needed it the most, because of the Kidney transplant, and didn't want to get the high readings to affect the new kidney with high sugars, that insurance didn't cover it.

But they are waking up and looking at the fact that Medicare is not realizing that others like myself need it and will pay for it.

I didn't pay for anything, and since the insulin that I am using for the pump is for a pump and not with the syringe, I am getting my insulin free!

A lot I am learning.

The biggest compliment you can pay me is to recommend my services!

Ladies, how are you wearing your pumps?
I read at some point where folks have had fanny packs for them,
Or made an inside pocket to carry it.
  Just interested.
How easy is the pump to get to.
Also can you buy the cartridges filled, so you can just put in the
  refill, with out filling anything?
Just like the Pin I'm using?
Did you take this off at night?
Do you try to fill your pump at home so you are not caught out having
to do this, and the pump makes a sound that would scare folks thinking
you are in some kind of trouble, when all it is for the moment
  refilling the pump?
  Thanks,
If you would like to write me off list, you sure can.
  Thanks again.
