[Diabetes-talk] question?

for the past 44 years I always had a diabetic doctor. Now I am told they are not getting paid properly so diabetics are being sent to general docs.

If you do not consistently see a specialist, how do they track any
trends in your readings, or you're a-1C, or any test for your organs and
general body function?
At one point I was seeing a general practitioner, and I can tell you
there is a world of difference between seeing a family doctor and a
specialist for a condition like diabetes.
It is obviously your choice, but I would advise against it.

Dar here
I see my doctor every three to four months.
Around christmas, I will ask not to go in December unless I have a
problem. Other than that I see my doctor. I don't feel comfortable with
that of what your doctor shared with you.
