Actually, I'm not so sure myself. First, not that many people use 
CGMS right now or can get insurance to cover it. One has to have a 
certain brand of meter and a certain brand of CGMS in this little 
experiment. If this tool is so useful, then it should come with the 
meter and be on the person anyway. And the second side of me says, oh 
great! Something else for a sighted driver to be fussing with instead 
of watching for me and other pedestrians. Right now there's still a 
lag in terms of information from these things and it can be a lot of 
work to shut off the alarms, another distraction. This is a sighted 
person's want, as opposed to need. Don't raise the price of everyone 
else's cars just to take care of you! Gee, guess I get to be today's 
curmudgeon! <grin.>
