Hi All,
I think that this partnership between Medtronic and Ford is very exciting.  If I was sighted, and had type 1 diabetes, I would try it.  Especially since i am the type of person who would us a CGMS device to start with.  It will save drivers the hassle of stopping to check blood sugar, especially on longer trips.  I have known several people who got into trouble, because they did not do so.  Even mildly low blood sugar have been shown to affect a driver's response in the same way as being drunk does.  So, I think that technology that can protect the driver, and others as well, is great.
