[Diabetes-talk] People who use the pump where to you place it onyour body, need advice

Cheryl,

Like you, I feel very little when inserting a set. The needle, which for
me looks like a small thumb tack, is removed once the cannula is in.

I rotate all around my mid to lower abdomine and switch sets every three
days. I've never used another part of my body. For now, I'm not having
complications using my abdomine. When on manual injections, I did rotate
between arms, legs, stomach and rear. I don't have much meat or fat on
my legs though, so I don't like to use them. With the tubing, I think
placing a set on my arms would be awkward.

like you said it might be you, Denise, you might be more sensitive then 
others, I feel nothing at all. The needle is so tiny, and it is there
for 
only a second until I remove it from the cannula, it doesn't stay there,
and 
the cannula little plastic I think, not sure what it is I am feeling it
now.

I have tried to put it on the arm and my thigh.

It has come off on the thigh, maybe my skin to oily there, and I have
put it 
in the upper arm, but just feel uncomfortable.

Where do you place yours, for those that use the pump.
