[Diabetes-talk] Can't Help But Crow!

Thank you, Bernadette.

And bravo on the start of a good relationship with your new endo. It would
be interesting to hear her speak on her impressions upon being introduced
for the first time to working with a blind diabetic. The makings of a
Monitor article, perhaps?

Mike

GOOD FOR YOU M I K E!!! PHANTABULOUS!!! You should "CROW!!!"

Now, getting onto something else very interesting, I started with a new ENDO

this week. Her name is Dr. Tamron Taylor. Being that she was brand new to
the office, much less brand new to me, I brought in my bag of paraphernalia,

speculating that she'd never seen most or at least part of what I had:
count-a-dose, my meter, and so on. And, my speculations were absolutely
correct. She watched me as I demonstrated the count-a-dose and she
exclaimed, "I never knew anything like this even existed. Yes, of course,
she seems to be an extremely down-to-earth sort of lady. Very genuine. Not

one of these, (I'm the doctor here and you're just a pea-on patient)! She
was genuinely learning from me. She actually seems very nice, cool and
laid-back. This is the first meeting, of course. I guess we'll see how
things progress. We discussed my plan and just how I, myself have
structured things so she could get to know me. I let her scroll up and down

my meter in addition to handing her my Excel Spread sheet. I actually felt

our first meeting was both productive and positive.

Meanwhile, keep crowing. Talk again soon!!
