I question whether an intestinal cleanse or purgative of any stripe is
beneficial.

Had I a weapon, I could have shot the good folks who gave us caster-oil in
nursery school! :-)

Aloe is taken orally, often for Intestinal cleanse. I believe there are
some 
other benefits but that is one I know of and is found in various 
deter/cleanse products taken orally.
