Yo Bern!
I hate to drink that stuff that empties you out.  My dr. said to chase it 
with a coke, as you are not eating anything!
That will give you some carbs and sugar.
She was not concerned about a couple highs with the coke, and the added 
stress of the colonoscopy.
I had the pump when I did mine, but it was several years ago and all I can 
say is I had to adjust, so whatever you do to adjust, I guess that's what 
you do!
