[Diabetes-talk] "The Diabetes Manifesto"

Hello, everyone.

 

I have a diabetes book to recommend. I read it a couple of years ago but had
forgotten how good it is. It debunks a plethora of myths about diabetes and
decries the "blame game" we diabetics often face - from doctors, from
friends and family, from the general public and from ourselves. At the same
time, it discusses diabetic complications realistically and urges diabetics
to get over waiting for an immediate cure and to get on with their
nondiabetic lives while not ignoring diabetes. The BARD description appears
