Actually, insofar as I am aware, there *is* no Federal law that mandates
that all Federal insurers cover all accessible meters. That's what our Home
Appliance Accessibility Act would, among other things, accomplish if passed.
However, the current political climate is not conducive to passing anything
that businesses view as putting "mandates" on them. Ugh!
