[Diabetes-talk] Solus V2 web site.

The Solo V2 was the first more-or-less accessible meter from bioSense. It
was mostly accessible except there was no "say display" key so you could
repeat a reading you had just taken if you missed it and when hearing
readings from memory, although the date and time of each reading was
displayed visually, the audio only said the date. These deficiencies have
been fixed in the Solus V2. To hear a reading from memory repeated, you have
to hit up-arrow and then down-arrow but this always works and there is a key
so you can hear the current reading you've just taken as many times as you
wish.

Hey Folks,

Not to be stupid here, but could somebody explain to me what the
difference between the Solus V2 and the Solo V2 is.

I think Advanced Diabetic Solutions,
http://www.advanceddiabeticsolutions.com/ has it also.

I bought mine from American Diabetes Solutions direct, $29.99 plus $5.99
shipping.

Tamara and others, where did you purchase the solus v2? I've found it at
Independent Living, well, maybe. It still says Solo v2, but it does say time
and date. The price there was about 60 bucks. I'd like to be sure that I'm
buying the correct meter when I find it. <grin.> Thanks.

There is one additional change: if you press the right-hand button after you
hear the result of a test, you will hear the reading again so that if you
missed it the first time, you don't have to review memory to hear the
reading again. You can listen to the reading as often as you like.
