IMPORTANT CHANGES TO DIABETES TREATMENT 
RECOMMENDATIONS

Every year, the American Diabetes Association 
(ADA) reviews the current scientific literature 
and updates its treatment recommendations 
accordingly. This year, the ADA made a number of 
significant changes, including revising its 
guidelines on blood pressure control and blood
