NO, do not stop the levimeer without consulting your doctor. Levimeer and lantis are too different to make this decision without consulting a professional. For starters, levimeer has a twelve hour effective range while lantis has a twenty-four effective time. Plus individual sensitivity to the two different medications is different for everyone. It's not as simple as switching from one to the other and trying to figure the correct dosages for your own needs. I personally take levimeer, and cannot use lantis for a number of reasons.
