[Diabetes-talk] whole lemons

That's why I mentioned cinnamon in my coffee. Coffee has been the same way.
One day it'll kill you, make you have small babies, and curl your hair. The
next it's the best thing since sliced bread. As with coffee, I eat cinnamon
in moderation (especially since it started making my tongue really sore),
and enjoy both. But that's the biggest problem with our research
today--every little finding is trumpeted throughout the land, and when
things are found not to do what we presumed at first, that knowledge is
quietly swept under the rug.

There are studies that appear to confirm that but about the time one
concludes that cinnamon might be of benefit to diabetics, out comes another
study that flat contradicts its effectiveness. It's this sort of thing that
makes me a confirmed skeptic.

I've heard that about lots of things. I suspect that, if it's true, it's
because you can eat less of something and be satisfied if it contains
cinnamon. I think I've read somewhere that it helps with diabetes, too--but

I can't place that right now.

Maybe I'm crazy, which very well may be true, grin, but I thought I
heard somewhere that cinnamon can help you lose weight. Does this ring a
bell to anyone else?

I love cinnamon anyway.
Just wonderful stuff.
