Sorry, Veronica, I don't know, but the University of Iowa Hospitals and 
Clinics is now huge (there's one hall in the building that's nearly two 
miles long), and I can't imagine that diabetes care wouldn't be good
there. 
Perhaps someone else will know.  I'm from the center of the state
myself.

We are getting a Diabetes Action Network up and running here, though,
and 
I'm the President, so we'll be looking into things like that!

Okay, with all of the Iowans or former Iowans on this list, one
question. From time to time, my hubby talks about going back to Iowa
when he retires this summer. Being a California girl myself, I keep
suggesting that he might want to visit during the winter before making
the final decision. <grin> But I was wondering if anyone here knows how
