Hmmm... Interesting. I suppose if you have insulin sensitivity though it
wouldn't be adviseable to use? Have never heard of type 1's doing this.
Well have to investigate.

I also know some type one's who are getting great results with Victoza
for those after-meal spikes. And who knows! No law says that a type 1
can't develop some resistance as well. But I always thought that the
mechanism by which Victoza worked was a little different and that it
wasn't just forcing one's body to crank out more insulin. I thought the
pills did that. Hmmmm. Interesting stuff though. Veronica

Type one, really? Insulin should be enough unless perhaps they struggle
with really high numbers a lot, but I've never heard of type 1's using
type 2 treatments. For most, the combination of insulin, which is
necessary for type 1's, and a pill med, used for type 2's,  would drop
you too low.

I have a friend who has type 1 and is on Insulin and is having great
results 
on Victoza.  Next January when I have better drug coverage with Medicare
I 
plan on using Victoza, also.
