[Diabetes-talk] peanut butter bread, recipe

It wasn't an actual recipe. It was just a suggestion for all the oil
that collects at the top of peanut butter. Someone said to try turning
it on top of a piece of bread.

Ok, so maybe the only part missing is the upside down part, unless you
count turning the bread out of the pan when you reach the last cooling
stage for it?  Well in any case, if there's a recipe out there, I'd
probably be the one to find it.  Enjoy.

 

Peanut Butter Bread

Original recipe makes 1 loaf  <javascript:void(0);> Change Servings

CriscoR Original No-Stick Cooking Spray 

.         

2 cups Pillsbury BESTR All Purpose Flour 

.         

1/2 cup sugar 

.         

2 teaspoons baking powder 

.         

1 teaspoon salt 

.         

3/4 cup JIFR Creamy Peanut Butter 

.         

1 large egg, beaten 

.         

1 cup milk 

Directions

1.     Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 9x3x5-inch loaf pan with
no-stick
cooking spray.

2.     Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in large bowl.

3.     Cut in peanut butter with a fork. Add egg and milk; stir just
enough
to moisten dry ingredients. Pour into prepared pan.

4.     Bake 60 minutes or until wooden pick inserted near center comes
out
clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Invert and remove loaf to cooling rack.
