[Diabetes-talk] For Diabetes Awareness Week, news features blind family

Hmmm... Some people are accessing this link just fine, and others are
having trouble. A couple have not been able to access it at all. I
copied and pasted the exact same link in all messages, so not sure why
the varying problems. Sorry.

Bridgit

Well, it appears that JAWS still put the space into the URL. If you copy
the two lines, paste it into the address of a webpage and remove the
space, it works...

I thought MS Outlook would give me the full link. I probably haven't
found the proper insert using 2010.

Robert and All:

FYI, The links list does not give full access as it stops at the "n" of
the word "raising". Try this following link as using MS Outlook you can
copy the full link into the message. When you get to the webpage, press
"h" to jump to the headder for the story. As the header is a "Header 1",
you will find it sooner. To play the story, the play is on a button and
will be found with pressing the letter "b" for buttons in JAWS or
Windoweyes. This is a very good positive story of being a blind couple
raising a child. Bridgit, keep up your good positiveness with the media
you have done...

The copy/paste of the two lines does work but you need to notice JAWS
also copies a space within the word of raising and you have to remove or
delete the space..

One more try. The link is on two lines, and you may have to go back to
the message, grab the second line of the link and paste it into your
browser. If you're using IE, alt+d gives you access to the link so you
can add to it.

Another idea if you're using JAWS is to do JAWS+F7 to list the links in
the message and then select this one. JAWS may be smart enough to grab
the whole link out of the message.

Sorry it's kind of a pain, but it really is a nice story. Good luck.

They're quite close to Iowa, and I'd love to hear the story--but alas!
I guess it's not to be!
