[Diabetes-talk] Lunch

Good day group,
One of my favorites is peanut butter on bananas. Slice the banana in half long ways. Cover both halts in peanut butter. Just on the cut side. Put the two sides together. Slice it laterally. Put it on your favorite bread. Of course keep in mind that Bananas are on the upper end of the Glycemic index. Limit your self to one every week or so. Enjoy!
I add tomato, lettuce, and sprouts to kit it up a notch. I love sprouts and grow them on my counter top. Most sprouts grow in a matter of four to seven days. You can stuff a one gallon ziplock back or green vegetable storage containers with enough sprouts to feed a good size family over a weeks time. Most spouters cost $10 to $25 depending on how big a one you want. Seeds very from $10 to $50 a pound depending on what type you desire. It is very important to refrigerate your sprouts. They will last on average two weeks in the fridge. Make sure you buy from a reputable source. e-Colie is the number one risk with produce and it is the same risk with sprouting seeds.
