Sounds like the makings of a blindness-prejudice-related article (tacit
debilitating assumptions, etc.) for the Braille Monitor.

They are getting more talking meters but they only tell you the reading and
if you missed it you can't check it. the setup is not accessible and the
memory is not accessible. The company I used to use sent me a meter like
this. the paper in the box said it was fully audible but I found the company
who made it online and asked them just how audible it was. they said it
would tell you the reading but that is all. the only meters I know of that
are really fully audible are the Prodiggee voice and the Solus or Solo v2.

Easy Max is a talking meter also. It takes less blood in 5 seconds. It is
smaller in size. Strips are similar to Prodigy's . But I am still trying to
hear on how to set the time and date to talk. So far it doesn't. I will
know perhaps later on today or tomorrow. I will keep you all posted.
