Oh yes. The Cleo went through a phase a few years ago where they were trying
to tighten up the adhesive. So it was so tight that you couldn't actually
pull the housing off without just taking the whole thing with you. I did
figure out that you had to hold it up against yourself longer before trying
to pull the thing off. And when they say pull straight, they mean it. <grin>
But I am in love with the flexibility of where you connect the tubing.

I really like the Cleo except the one down side is that if you
accidently screw it up, the set is no longer good. You have to toss an
entirely good, unused set away. Otherwise, it's one of my favorite
infusion sets.

The Cleo has a spring-loaded mechanism so you place it against the area
you want to have it, and push, and it injects into the area. If, fo some
reason, you inject to soon, you can't re-load or anything. And I also
found it tricky at first to pull the plastic part away from the infusion
set once injected in. But after playing with the Cleo, I got better with
it, and again, it's one of my favorites.

Bridgit and others, I'm a huge Cleo fan. I use it exclusively right now.
For an angled set, I did fine with the Comfort sets, or Tenders,
depending on which company you use. I forget what Medtronic calls their
version of it.I've seen reports of people being allergic to the sticky
tape that holds the Omnipod pods on recently. Other than that, it's

What I'm specifically referring to is not tape, but a little wipe like
an alcohol wipe, but it's sticky. You swipe it on the area of skin you
plan to place an infusion set before actually putting the set in. It not
only can help keep the set attached, but as I said, it also creates a
barrier between your skin and the glue on the back of the set, which is
what I use the prep wipes for.

You can use tape to cover the set, but I've never done this. I still
recommend trying a different kind of set because what works for some,
may not for others. Personally, I like the Cleo, MedTronic Quickset and
UltraFlex. All infusion sets will have their pros and cons, but I prefer
these styles.

Dave told me he didn't use the prep tapes before going to bed that 
night, that probably would have helped.  I suppose some can get away 
without using prep tapes and some just can't do that.
