[Diabetes-talk] Recently DXED Pre-Diabetic

It's interesting that thin people contract diabetes, too. An old friend of
mine has always been slender and physically fit, but he developed diabetes
anyway. But his form of it is controlled by diet and exercise, and only in
the past couple of years has he had to add Metformin to his program. But as
for me, body weight does matter with my A1C. -- Bill

Join the club. I don't trust it myself, and I've never heard a doctor say
"This is why this works," but for Type 2's, it seems to much of the time.
Losing the weight is a big part of it--many of the risks go down with weight
loss--but it isn't all of it. It's an awful way to lose weight--but it does
work!
