[Diabetes-talk] Diabetes Action Network Seminar

Greetings, everyone.

 

The annual diabetes Action Network Seminar at this year's national
convention will take place from 12:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 3
in Salon 6 on the second floor of the Rosen Center hotel. Although the
agenda says the seminar will go until 5:00 p.m., I will try to end the
seminar somewhat before 5:00 p.m. so DAN Seminar participants will have time
to get to other venues during our crowded convention agenda.

 

Registration begins at 12:30 p.m.; Joy Stigile, DAN Treasurer, will be
taking annual dues which are $10. I plan to allow a bit more time for
registration so that there won't be a mad rush to register during the break
between program items and the DAN business meeting. During the business
meeting, we will approve minutes of last year's meeting, hear and approve
the Treasurer's report, elect officers and DAN Board members and conduct
other DAN business as necessary.

 

In the past, there has been a sufficient crush registering with DAN that Joy
has not been able to obtain full information for everyone (name, address,
phone number, email address, etc.). I am therefore asking if anyone who
plans to attend the DAN Seminar and who has a notetaker such as a
BrailleSense, BrailleNote or equivalent would be willing to assist Joy in
getting all this information for each registrant and placing this into a
file that she could take with her or I could take with me so that we can
truly update our member list properly. If so, please send a message to this
