[Diabetes-talk] Something Cool

Christel:

I mean that if your meter gives you a reading that doesn't make sense -- and
they all do once-in-a-while -- just take another reading. Also, the majority
of meter problems have much more to do with strips than they do meters.

Hey!

What do you mean by no meter is perfect?
What should I pay attention when using meters?
Here we have only one kind what has voice and what blind people can use.

Oh; I don't mind the Prodigy Voice either. Each meter has its personality
and quirks. I know some who can't stand the Solus and have gone to the
Prodigy Voice. But the Solus V2 -- agt least mine -- does a pretty reliable
job. But no meter is perfect.

Hey Mike, that is awesome. I am looking into getting that meeter, I am not
a fan of my prodigy meeter.

All:

I "sprang forward" this morning but hadn't set my Solus V2 for DST because I
wanted my last reading of yesterday to have the correct time and figured I'd
reset the meter this morning. Lo and behold! The meter set itself to
Daylight Savings Time automatically. Tough on Arizona and Indiana residents
but great for me!
