Yeah. I don't ever want to fall into thinking I know all there is to know on
any subject, but especially pumps. I've been on one since 1991 and plenty of
good people on this list have given me something to think about, helped me
shape questions as I look at pumps, and just flat out kept me moving
forward. Truthfully, I think it would have been far more respectful and
informative to schedule a panel discussion on the subject. In a case of
something where there are several brands of insulin pumps, it just doesn't
pay to have only one representative. Just my opinion, of course. So I'll use
the opportunity to thank all of you on this list and repeat how much I
appreciate all of you.

Me, too -- but not enough to call in. Frankly, I doubt anyone has gotten
farther than some of our (DAN's) savvy pump-users. But thought I'd make the
opportunity available.

Pardon me blowing our horn a bit but there's far less wishful thinking and
looking for a magic elixir that keeps blood sugar from going up after meals
on this list than there is on the other. But before she died, Patricia
LaFrance-Wolf put a lot of good stuff on there.

This is a notice about the ACBDA conference call this Wednesday night March

The topic will be a totally blind man speaking to us about using an insulin
pump.  He has been using on for quite some time.  I thought there would be
some out there who might like to hear this.
