Dotty, for some reason, you canot successfully connect a meter with the Millennium. Oh how I tried. But there’s something about the hand shaking that just doesn’t work. It has to be an older model, the 2000 or earlier.
As for the baud rate, you tell Hyperterminal what it is. I know that for the FreeStyle Lite or Freedom, the baud rate is 19200, 8 data bits, 1 stop bits, no parody. If you have the right cable, it will work.
