Hi Bernie,
The lady I talked to said that they were testing and working with BD Syringues.
She wasn't sure about other syringue brands.
Maxaids said there were only three presets. Go figure.
Well it sounds that this would be a good option for people.
If I were taking Insulin and couldn't use the pens for some reason I would definitely try this.
That's just my opinion.
The lady even told me that they have other products. She seems rather astute in that she said some people who know braille can feel the smaller dots on some of their other equipment.
She was even aware of the fact that some people couldn't use different colors but would need a tactile marking to keep their safe shots separated.
It helps because her mother is a Diabetic and has very low vision in her one eye.
For $12.33 maybe someone should order one and check it out.
I am going to talk to Dawn when I can reach her and see if she wants me to order two of them for her.
I hope that this is going to work for many people.
