[Diabetes-talk] Help needed

I echo mike's sentiments exactly!!! However, might I also add that
firstly, Heaven knows what kind of "talking meter" she has. If this
Accuchek, forget it. They're not even made anymore. At least the
Voicemate isn't. Secondly, the newer meters now are made so that the
combination of the meter and strip will draw the blood from the hole in
a finger into itself simply VIA capillary action. You don't have to
worry about dropping blood into some great abis, never to be found again
except for maybe a stain in one's clothing or dried blood on the table
in front of you. For with these meters, far much less blood than ever
is needed fore a reading.

As Mike has also said, over the years, I have developed my own technique
that works best for me.
