[Diabetes-talk] Accessible app to record blood sugars

Tara:
What actually isn't working? Could it be the VoiceOver bug in iOS 8 in which
focus doesn't follow left- and right-flicks? You can often get around this
by actually touching the screen and finding the field manually. You can
often then interact with a text field, button, link or popup button. On the
other hand, the app may not have been updated for iOS 8 yet.
I use GlucoseRecorder. It has a few quirks (left- and right-flicks don't get
you thru the date field; you have to touch the date field you wish to enter)
but it's simple and accessible. But then I'm still running iOS 7.1.2 and
don't intend to upgrade until at least iOS 8.2 should it appear or even
perhaps iOS 9. I don't wish to be treated as an alpha-tester the way General
Motors appears to use its customer base on new products. (huge grin) But
give Glucose Recorder a try.

Hello everyone: I used to use Glucose Buddy or GB to log my blood sugars. It
was about 90% accessible but it was simple to use, time stamped and my doc
liked it. After I upgraded to IOS 8, the app will no longer work with voice
over. I have emailed the company with no response and am now looking for
another accessible sugar log. Any thoughts?
Thank you,
Tara
