Hi Mark!
I have been a type 1 for 27 years, using an insulin pump for 24 years. I too 
join the club of those who were already blind before the diagnosis. Boy, 
some of these manufacturers should just take a look at our lists and they'd 
get the idea that just because diabetes is easier to manage, possibly 
resulting in fewer complications, that doesn't mean there aren't blind 
people needing access to all of this gear.
But you'll see, it's a friendly bunch, chatty, full of knowledge and 
opinion; helpful tips and general support. I also look forward to what you 
can bring to the group. Glad you joined.

My name is Mark Tardif and I am a new member to the list.  I am what some 
people would call borderline diabetic and have been for a few years.  This 
did not cause my blindness, but it’s there, related to other issues.  I hope 
to get some valuable information and provide helpful information when
